Kathryn Williams
Kathryn Williams is the panda eyed goddess of Newcastle coffee shop folk and deserves to be more famous than Dido, Beth Orton and all the fly-by-nights that the broadsheets keep trying to tell us are folk singers.
Nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, and touchingly unchanged by the whole experience, Kathryn makes music that, without you noticing, sneaks up behind you and won’t let go until you’ve told all your friends.
Both of Kathryn’s albums are now available on winyl through Snowstorm.
